Kathryn M. Bowsher
Founder and Principal
Kathryn is a seasoned strategic marketing executive with a specialty in bringing new products to market. She has over 15 years of experience with all aspects of the marketing process and a proven track record of bottom line results in both large and small companies. Kathryn's extensive background in moving new products from idea through launch includes allocation of feasibility dollars, product definition, market research, product management, pricing, positioning, and product launches. She has launched 7 products and built 2 marketing departments.
Prior to founding Act One Consulting, Kathryn was VP of Marketing at Somnus Medical Technologies and has directed global marketing and product development strategy for a $725 million drug line at Baxter International. Other clients and employers have included Acologix, Integrated Biosystems, Essentia Biosystems, Frazier & Co., Corus Pharma, CellStat Technologies, and Goldman Sachs. Kathryn holds an MBA from Stanford and an AB from Princeton.
